Death is a natural part of life. We will all face it and none of us know when. When that time comes we will be instantly and completely separated from all of our success, prestige, and wealth. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Matthew 7:13-14 says "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." John 14:6 says " Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." Eternal salvation is the reward, a joy filled life with purpose is a bonus.
